  • Candle care

    To ensure you get the most out of your Pink Pond candle please follow the instructions below: 

    - When burning your candle for the first time, please allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edge of your vessel, this will create a candle memory and will ensure a clean and even burn. It will take approximately 3 hours of burn to achieve this. 

    - Do not burn candle for more than 3 hours at a time.

    - Trim your wick to 4mm before each use, this helps control your flame to ensure maximum burn time. 

    -Discontinue use when your candle has 1-1.5cm of wax left in the bottom of your vessel. Please monitor closely as you burn over half of your candle. 

    - Please follow the safety instructions below when burning your candle. You can refer to these on the bottom of your vessel too. 

     

     

    Safety instructions: 

    - Never leave your burning candle unattended.

    - Keep away from windows, drafts and vibrations.

    - Burn your candle on a heat resistant surface.

    - Never move your candle while lit.

    - Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.

  • About our candles

    - Our candles are a 50/50 coconut and natural soy wax blend.

    - Our soy wax is made from environmentally friendly renewable resources. It is a non-toxic, vegan wax that leaves a creamy finish to your candle. Soy wax is an excellent fragrance carrier that doesn't require chemical amplifiers. Our soy wax is made from 100% pure soybeans therefore doesn't emit any nasty substances into our atmosphere. 

    - Coconut wax has a high scent throw when burning and when cold. Coconut wax is vegan, nontoxic and burns cleaner than other types of candle wax. It emits zero soot particles as the wax is petro-carbon soot free. Coconut wax does not blacken walls nor add toxic carcinogens into the air you breathe. 

    - We use wood wicks because they are clean burning, long lasting and provide 35% wider fragrance throw than cotton wicks. Our wood wicks are 100% eco-friendly and toxin free. Studies have shown that consumers find wooden wicks more calming and ambient than cotton wicks.

    - All of our fragrances are 100% phthalate-free and comply with the strictest global RIFM and IFRA standards.
