FAQ

Q: What type of wax do you use?
We use a 50/50 coconut and natural soy wax blend.

Q: What are the benefits of using coconut wax?
Coconut wax has a high scent throw when burning and when cold. It is vegan, nontoxic and burns cleaner than other types of candle wax. It emits zero soot particles as the wax is petro-carbon soot free. Coconut wax does not blacken walls nor add toxic carcinogens into the air you breathe.

Q: Does coconut wax smell like coconut?
Nope i
t's odourless, it does not smell like coconuts at all!

Q: What are the benefits of using soy wax?
Soy wax is made from environmentally friendly renewable resources. It is a non-toxic, vegan wax that leaves a creamy finish to your candle. Soy wax is an excellent fragrance carrier that doesn't require chemical amplifiers. Our soy wax is made from 100% pure soybeans and doesn't emit any nasty substances into our atmosphere.

We hand pour our candles in Whitby, New Zealand.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We are only shipping to our friends in Australia for now but hoping to ship further in the near future.

Q: Can I return my order?
We do not accept returns due to change of mind. If there is a fault with your candle, please get in contact with us to discuss options.

Q: My candle wax has started tunnelling; can I fix this?
Yes! Sometimes when a candle is not lit for the recommended 3 hours for the first burn, the wax memory is established incorrectly, and tunnelling of the wax may occur. To fix this you can cover the top/sides of the burning candle with tin foil. Make sure there is a hole in the top. This will help melt the sides of the candle down and create a new wax memory.
