Candle Care
To ensure you get the most out of your Pink Pond candle please follow the instructions below:
- When burning your candle for the first time, please allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edge of your vessel, this will create a candle memory and will ensure a clean and even burn. It will take approximately 2-4 hours of burn to achieve this.
- Trim your wick to 4mm before each use, this helps control your flame to ensure maximum burn time.
- Do not burn for more than 3 hours at a time. If you burn for too long carbon will collect on the wick. This can cause the wick to become unstable, the flame to get too large, your candle to smoke, and soot to be released into the air. The wax can also get too hot and burn your beautiful fragrance off.
- Discontinue use when your candle has 1-1.5cm of wax left in the bottom of your vessel.
- Please follow the safety instructions below when burning your candle. You can refer to these on the bottom of your vessel too.
Safety instructions
- Never leave your burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from drafts, windows and vibrations.
- Burn your candle on a heat resistant surface.
- Never move you candle while lit.
- Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.
To clean out your vessel
- Pour boiling water into your vessel to melt the wax.
- Allow to cool completely.
- Remove and dispose of the hard wax layer at the top of the water.
- Wash your vessel with hot soapy water.
- Dry and prepare to reuse :)
